EVA’s and BIBA’s
Over the last few years Centaur Training Services have been a part of the BIBA and EVA awards. This year Centaur are proud to be sponsoring the Solo Business Award at the EVA’s as Centaur initially started out as a solo business and was built up from the ground by Rose and Emma over the years to become the micro company it is now. The Be Inspired Business Awards (BIBAs) and the Enterprise Vision Awards (EVAs) help businesses across the North West gain the recognition they deserve while allowing them to network with other companies and learn from larger, established businesses. Centaur Training Services (North West) Ltd are delighted to that our very own Managing Director, Rose Watkins reached the final stage of judging in the prestigious BIBA awards for the category of Business Woman of the Year in both 2014 and 2015. Centaur also made the final of the EVA awards Small Business category in 2015.
The Be Inspired Business Awards (BIBAs) are Lancashire’s biggest and best business awards, dubbed “the one they all want to win.” The event, organised by the North West Lancashire Chamber of Commerce, has the remit of celebrating the achievements of the county’s best businesses and accordingly it attracts the cream of the Lancashire business community. It is great to receive recognition for our progress, as it is good to know that all the hard work is paying off! In 2015 a record-breaking 1232 entries were received so we are very proud to have made the cut.
The Enterprise Vision Awards (EVAs) helps bring recognition to women in business across the North West. Allowing participants the chance to reflect upon their achievements along with looking to the future of their business development, growing in confidence and meeting like minded entrepreneurs, the EVAs is a fun night of glamour and glitz at the Blackpool Winter Gardens. This year Centaur has the pleasure of sponsoring and judging the Solo Business Awards category. Rose Watkins founded the company in 2003 and built the business up over the years into the micro company that it is now and is always looking to expand and grow Centaur in new ways. Rose knows the challenges that a solo business woman faces and has overcome them herself, so judging this category will give her the chance to reflect upon her own achievements while finding a budding like minded entrepeneur in the eventual winner this September!
