Programme Outline
Our Level 2 Health and Safety course is designed to increase your understanding of health and safety in the workplace. The course covers potential hazards you may face, how to assess possible risks and how to deal with hazards. If you need to ensure that your employees are aware of the latest health and safety procedures, this course is ideal for you.
Aims
To increase the student’s understanding of health and safety within the workplace and therefore reduce risk of injury. 
Objectives
Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to:
- Describe how risk assessments contribute to health and safety
- Explain your responsibility for health, safety and welfare in the workplace
- Identify and control the risks of common workplace hazards
- Respond and record incidents/accidents in the workplace in line with company procedures
Who is the programme for?
Health and safety is everyones responsibility, not just the managers. This means that employers are required to provide a safe place to work, but each individual must take responsibility for health and safety. This course will provide you with the knowledge needed to keep yourself and others safe at work. This course is accredited by Highfield Awarding Body for Compliance (HABC).
